Language Center - English as a Foreign Language

The Language Center of Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, is seeking applications from qualified and experienced instructors in “English as a Foreign Language” for full time positions starting fall 2023.

Education & Experience:

  • M.A. in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or related field with a TESOL certificate,
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time experience teaching in a college-level English language
    program,
  • Experience with and knowledge of a variety of curricular approaches and methodologies for
    teaching English as a Foreign Language,
  • Experience with teaching EAP and English Composition,
  • Online teaching experience,
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to working with others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach up to 20 hours a week (full-time),
  • Hold regular office hours,
  • Regularly attend meetings,
  • Develop learning and assessment materials,
  • Collaborate with other faculty and administrative staff,
  • Actively support the mission, core values, and teaching philosophies of the Language Center,
  • Participate in service to the Language Center and the University.
