Objectives
In this task you will learn to:
- Build a simple PowerPoint document
- Copy Excel charts and tables to a PowerPoint document
- Save a PowerPoint presentation as a document for the WWW
Instructions
You are writing a paper on mobile phone use at AUI. You have completed
a survey (a copy of the survey appears in the file survey.doc)
and have completed a document (which appears in the file mobile.doc)
to report the results. You now need to build a presentation document
that you can use to present the results to your peers.
Activity 1
Build a PowerPoint presentation containing seven slides to the
following specifications.

Insert the title of the presentation |
| 2. Slide layout = Title and Text |
Insert the title of the slide (Presentation Contents)
and a list of the main points of the presentation |
| 3. Slide layout = Title Only |
Insert the title of the slide (Introduction) |

Insert the title of the slide (Gender and Mobile

Activity 2
Download and read Tips for Moving Charts from Excel to PowerPoint.
Insert the appropriate charts and table created in the phones.xls
workbook on slides 4, 5, and 6. Be sure to retain the color schemes
and formatting of the template you chose for your presentation.
You should also copy the reference list items from the document
mobile.doc
to use on slide 7. You will need to change the format so that it
matches the template you have chosen to use for your presentation.
Save the PowerPoint presentation document with the file name presentation.ppt.
Activity 3
Download and read Tips for Moving PowerPoint Documents to the
WWW. Follow the instructions to save your presentation document
as a web document and its supporting files.
