A computer is made up of components - hardware.  How happy you are with your computer largely depends on these components.  The main components of the computer are as follows.  What is important about these components?  Listen to your teacher and take notes.

1. In this space below, draw a desktop computer.  Include the following components: CPU (Central Processing Unit), display, keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner.

2. Under each heading, list the computer components that belong in that category.

3. Monitor: Take notes on the important features of a computer monitor

4. Central Processing Unit (CPU): Take notes on the important features of a computer CPU

5. Peripherals: Take notes on the important features of peripherals

6. Software: Take notes on the software needed for a computer
