Celebration of “Action 350”

Dear AUI community,
As you know, we have scientific evidence that climatic change is a reality due mainly to greenhouse gazes. A currently average CO2 level in the atmosphere is about 387 ppm. In order to be in the safe zone, we need to be at 350 ppm level.

Many countries through the world   are acting now   with  various actions, let us then join the world community by  acting , simple programs: energy efficiency( economic bulbs, light off whenever possible) , at home, at work , common transportation, in the  daily life... planting a tree .. an easy change in attitude   followed by public awareness may be a modest contribution to the Climatic Change Issue.

This email is meant for calling to suggest some actions which may help in designing a national action plan based on these simple ideas and others you may have.
