Requirement: motivated
Undergraduate and Graduate students from all schools eligible for AUI
financial aid. It is highly recommended not to have more than 5 courses
for undergraduate students and not more than 3 courses for graduate
students.

Tasks Description:
-
Design
specific programs in coordination with AUI CEIRD Executive Director and
Field technician coordinator
-
Prepare a
leaflet and outlines of the environmental program
-
Contribute to
environmental training programs for adults: AUI staff, NGOs
-
Assist in
miscellaneous administrative and field matters
-

2007 Internships offer

The AUI
CEIRD is inviting applications for two internship positions in Summer 2007

Requirement: Motivated
Undergraduate and Graduate students, all schools and majors (BS/BA, MA/
MS/MBA)/, Junior & Senior Undergraduates highly recommended to applying.

Period: June 1 to July 20, 2007
-
Tasks
description:
-
To carry
literature search on environmental specific projects (Bio-agriculture,
Renewable energies...) and to contribute to proposals preparation
-
To monitor field
work at the AUI CEIRD experimental site (data collection and monitoring,
data analysis, reports preparation)
-
To assist in various hands-on work
-
To carry
development & environment surveys in and outside AUI
-
Please note
that this a learning opportunity based on teamwork with a multidisciplinary
group in addition to interactions with real world (communities, enterprises,
NGO's...).

No
financial compensation is offered to trainees.
