O. DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT:
Position Title:
Director of Enrollment Management
Functional Description:
The Director of Enrollment Management is
responsible for assuring that students are recruited, admitted
and oriented to the University in a timely, sensitive and effective
manner. He or she maintains accurate student records and delivers
financial assistance to students, as appropriate.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides overall leadership and supervision
for the programs of student recruitment,
admission, registration, orientation and
financial assistance.
- Develops a program for marketing the University to prospective
students.
- Develops and manages the annual operating budget for all functions
within the Division of Enrollment Management.
- Recruits, appoints, supervises and evaluates staff of the
Division.
- Assures the delivery of high quality services to students
and the University community.
- Develops staff to be service-oriented and sensitive to the
public relations needs of the university.
Reporting Line:
The Director of Enrollment Management reports
to the Dean for Student Affairs.
Span of Control:
Reporting to the Director of Enrollment Management
are the following:
- Registrar
- Admissions Officers
- Registration Officers
- Financial Aid Officer
- Outreach and Orientation Officer
Qualifications:
The Director of Enrollment Management must
have at least a masters degree, preferably in the field of student
personnel, information systems and/or marketing. He or she must
have significant experience in admissions, student recruitment,
financial aid or some combination thereof. Detailed knowledge
and experience working with computerized student registration
and records systems are required. The Director must be student-oriented
and have excellent communication and public relations skills.
He or she must be multilingual, with competence in Arabic, French
and English.
