Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSEMS)
This Master program is only offered in the combined BSMS formula with
the Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Management Science.
The Master of Science in Software Engineering and Management Science is
designed to provide the student, through concentration courses, with solid
foundations and in-depth expertise in both software engineering and management
science. The student is expected to acquire specialized skills and
be able to produce high-quality software, better inform business decisions
and improve corporate efficiency.
MSSEMS Admission Requirements
The Master of Science in Software Engineering and Management Science
degree is available to students who are completing a combined Bachelor of
Science in Engineering and Management Science with the Master of Science
in Software Engineering and Management Science, and to students who have
completed a Bachelor degree and have satisfied undergraduate prerequisites
for the MSSEMS. See the Undergraduate Studies portion of the catalog for a

MSSEMS Course Requirements
MSSEMS students must complete a graduate concentration in Software
Engineering and a graduate concentration in Management Science.
Master Project
The Master Project for the MSSEMS is expected to take the equivalent of
4 months of full-time work. It may be completed in two consecutive summer
sessions. It should combine application of materials from both graduate concentrations.
