Master of Science in Software Engineering(MSSE)
The Master of Science in Software Engineering (MSSE) program is designed
to provide the student, through concentration courses, with solid, specialized skills needed to produce high-quality software. In addition, it gives the
student sufficient breadth, through selected advanced elective courses, to
quickly learn new technological developments. This 27 SCH program is
designed to be completed in one calendar year. The requirements of the
MSSE program consist of eight courses and a one semester MS project
(3SCH). The eight courses are divided into 4 concentration courses and
4 elective courses. Students can register for the MS Project or MS Thesis only
after finishing at least two courses in their concentration.
The pre-requisites required for the MSSE are the equivalent of CSC 3324
and CSC 3325 (Software Engineering I and II) OR CSC 5302 (Graduate
Software Engineering).
(Other courses may be added to this list upon approval)
Different courses from this list will be offered in different semesters. Course
offerings are made to allow the students to finish the MSSE program in one
calendar year.
