Networking and marketing services

Networking is a major component of the incubation program. Indeed, besides the physical facilities and support services provided, the tenant will have to be formed to face competition and all other market threats.  It is necessary to connect tenants with regional and international partners.

To this end, strong partnerships will be conducted with important national and international active players that will ensure the integration of tenant companies in the marketplace and the access to financing at very encouraging conditions

Hence, we plan to set a strong network at different levels:

  • Within the incubator:  it is fundamental to have an interactive environment (between tenants) that will facilitate synergies, the flow of information and transfer of knowledge.  Therefore we will:
    • Organize thematic meetings on a regular basis in small groups.
    • Work on a ”proximity” environment that will enhance informal information exchange  and better communication between the tenants.
    • Initiate synergies between the different tenants, since the board and staff have a global view on tenants’ activities.
    • Encourage tenants to use shared ICT tools (intranet, online databases…) to create “virtual” collaboration.

  • At a national level: the University has strong relations with almost all key economic actors in the countries. Tenant companies will benefit from this relations with :
    • NGOs and professional associations
    • Universities
    • Industry business leaders, i.e. Maroc Telecom and ONA.
    • Moroccan government and official agencies (export agency…)
    • SME’s Federation in Morocco
    • APEBI (Association professionnelle des Entreprises de Bureautiques et Informatiques)
    • Financial institutions (Foundation de la banque populaire)

The incubator will use different marketing and communication tools to succeed in the tenants’ integration including road-shows, website communication, spin offs…

  • International networking:
    • Morocco Center of Entrepreneurial Excellence (MCEE) will be based at the University and funded and co-managed by Beyster Institute in USA
    • Other infoDev grantees and their tenants (cooperation and strategic exchange with ICT tools such as www.idisc.net )
    • Other science parks. We have already agreements with Montana State University Tech park, The incubator of l’Ecole de Mines D’ALES in France
    • Multinational companies interested in the project
    • International NGOs.
