Our Competencies
The Moroccan node of the Mediterranean School aims to promote specific actions to develop human capital and to diffuse and make aware SMEs and Public Administrations of the benefits deriving from the introduction of methodologies, processes and tools enabling digital innovation and change engineering practices.
In this perspective, the Moroccan node is conceived as a strategic asset to accelerate the development of Moroccan strategic industries towards the global economy. In particular, it is focused on the following topics:
- Exploration of innovative management approaches of the Internet-worked business;
- Set up of methodologies and tools for the reconfiguration and innovation of traditional processes through e-Business technologies;
- Analysis and design of new collaborative and diffused e-business models;
- Set up of the technological architecture enabling Internet-worked enterprises (IE);
- Design and realization of case histories and pilot applications and services to demonstrate the potentialities and benefits of e-business for local development;
- Promote web-learning initiatives sustaining life-long learning processes.
The aforementioned topics are targeted to the following applications in specific fields:
- e-Tourism, focused on destination management;
- e-Agrifood, focused on supply chain management;
- New product development process, with a particular focus on Aeronautics industry;
- Marketing placement of regions, districts and clusters;
- Decision making processes for intelligent management of territories.
The Moroccan node of the Mediterranean School has two main locations: Ifrane and Casablanca.
