Other Print Sources
Often you will have to cite print materials that are special in some
way - translations for example.
A secondary source
For example, if you read a book by Hardcastle (1999), and in that
book he refers to a book by Rathbun (2001) you would cite this in-text
as follows:
Rathbun (as cited in Hardcastle, 1999) recommends teaching academic
skills intensively before students enter their areas of concentration.
In the reference list, you would include a reference for Hardcastle
(1999), but not for Rathbun.
Hardcastle, P. (1999). Teaching and learning academic
study skills. Rabat: Moroccan Press Co.
A non-English source
If the original version of a non-English source is used in a paper,
give the original title and, in brackets, the English translation of
the title.
Deshene, M. (2002). Les methodes de rechereches
Nicoises. [Research methods of Nice]. Rabat: Moroccan Press Co.
A translated source
Laaboudi, A. (2000). A philosophical study of critical thinking (A.
