Faculty Development
Spring 2004
In the Spring semester, the Vice President for Academic Affairs requested
that CAD organize teaching effectiveness workshops. CAD faculty members
put together two general faculty development sessions in March and April
2004, each followed by workshops. The first one addressed the theme
of testing and evaluation, while the second looked at implications of
oral communication across the programs. The format involved one large
session with presenters treating the theme generally, followed by smaller,
more focused workshops scheduled for the next week. This pattern was
followed twice, once for each theme.
Sessions
Both sessions were held in the Board Room of Building 1. Workshops
were held in the Writing Center and Room 108 of Building 10.
