Learning Styles - Developing Pedagogical Strategies at AUI - WEDNESDAY,April
17, 2002
Moroccan students have developed a set of learning strategies at secondary
school which are seen as badly adapted to autonomous study in an Anglo-Saxon
style University. This workshop will examine the learning styles prevalent
among AUI students in particular and Moroccan students in general and
suggest ways to adapt and modify these styles to fit in with pedagogical
expectations at AUI. Teacher Centered vs Student-Centered learning methods,
independent study habits, group work, effective learning strategies
are among the issues to be addressed.
