2007 United Nations Public Service Award

Dr. Driss Kettani, from the School of Science and Engineering, and his team at the ICT4D lab have won another award: the 2007 United Nations Public Service Award in the category of “Improving the Delivery of Services,” for their Fez e-government project.

This award recognizes outstanding achievement demonstrating excellence in serving the public interest. The award was given at the UN Public Service Awards Ceremony which was held during the plenary session of the 7th Global Forum on Reinventing Government, in United Nations Office in Vienna.
