Social Entrepreneurship Competition - Seattle

A team of 4 students from AUI will participate in the 2nd edition of the social entrepreneurship competition that will take place in Seattle from February, 27th to March 2nd, 2007.

The competition, which is organized by the University of Washington's Entrepreneurship Center (one of the best centers in the world), is about social entrepreneurship (fighting against poverty and social inequalities).

AUI’s team will compete against 12 teams from prestigious universities from Asia and America. The business plan of AUI’s team is entitled "Tanmiya: women cooperative for the production of Argan oil in the region of souss". Prizes will be given to the three best business plans.

AUI team’s members are:

• Nazih El Bezzari: Master of Science in Corporate Finance and Financial analyst in BMCE Bank
• Ahmed Berrada: Master of Science in Corporate Finance
• Fatima Zohra Bensaid: Bachelor in Business Administration
• Zineb Maimmadi: Master in Business Administration
