Major Field Test
Congratulations to SBA students who participated in the MFT (Major Field Test), a test designed by ETS (Educational Testing Service) to measure the basic knowledge and understanding achieved by students in a major field of study.
ETS (Educational Testing Service) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advance quality and equity in education by providing fair and valid assessment, research, and related services.
One of these assessment tools is the MFT (Major Field Test), a test designed to measure the basic knowledge and understanding achieved by students in a major field of study.
MFT tests exist for a variety of areas, both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels. For business, two different tests are administered to all our undergraduate students in their last semester, and to MBA students. There are nine areas in which students are tested: Accounting, Economics, Management, Quantitative Methods, Finance, Marketing, Legal Issues, International Business, and Management of Information Systems (newly introduced in the last edition of the MFT).
Our student scored notably well and the results are excellent and encouraging. We should congratulate our students for their excellent performance and all SBA teachers for the efforts made to achieve these results.
