Training Session Organized by the World Bank Office in Morocco
Ever since the adoption of the World Bank Policy on Disclosure of Information in 2001, a large number of Public Information Centers (PICs) were created around the World with the aim of disseminating WB generated information. Within the framework of this decentralization project, Mohammed VI Library was chosen to host one of these regional PICs.
Many training sessions were offered by the World Bank office in Morocco for the benefit of all Public Information Centers managers. The fifth training session will take place in Marrakech from March 28 to March 31, 2006. It aims to develop an action plan for the development of WB Public Information Centers to provide better support for patrons who seek information through the World Bank databases and other electronic databases.
Mr. Abderrahim Ameur and Mrs. Layla Ajrouh have been nominated by the Library Director to represent Mohammed VI Library in this training.
