World Earth Day 2007
On behalf of the AUI CEIRD and the organizing team, i am pleased to extend this invitation to you and to any other motivated volunteers you might know for attending and participating to our workshop and activities of the WED 2007( World Earth Day). Please find attached the tentative program.
The main objectives of these activities are the following:
- make aware the community (AUI, local population, decision makers,enterprises) on the Climatic change Issues and its social, economical and ecological impacts;
- promote energy alternatives environmental friendly technologies( solar, wind....)
- discuss and share simple changes towards natural resources that community can achieve as contribution to the climatic change issues;
- give an opportunity to the community to learn more about our exciting research and development project on sustainable development on campus( CEIRD experimental site) as contribution of AUI for promoting environmental concerns and sustainable development at the local , national, regional and international level.
I would appreciate receiving an email of confirmation for your participation before April 15.
Note: This program is open to all, please disseminate the information around you in Ifrane, other cities of Morocco in other countries... We need to have a list of motivated persons and institutions who express interest to join us for the celebrations!!!
Altogether we can prepare a better future for our planet. Still we have time but we should act locally and continue thinking globally!!!!!!!
