Position Title: Registration Officer
Enrollment Services invites applications for the position of Registration Officer
Reporting Line: The registration officer reports to the Registrar
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general directions of the Registrar and the Director of Enrollment Services the Registration Officer performs the following main tasks:
- Provide information to students, faculty and parents concerning registration matters.
- Provide a full range of registration services for students; advise students on registration eligibility, registration procedures, academic regulations and policies, and graduation requirements.
- Keep all registration records and maintaining confidentiality of such records.
- Provide official enrollment documents to students.
- Provide all reports related to the Registrar’s Office.
- Undertake other duties as directed by the Registrar.
- Specific tasks related to registration will be assigned by the Registrar.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in communication, business administration, or a related field
Good knowledge of the University flowchart
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Advanced knowledge in internet searching
- Excellent command of English, French and Arabic, spoken and written
- Good Knowledge in Website design and maintenance
- Good computer trouble-shooting skills (first aid in connection failure, computer failure, etc)
- Good knowledge of multimedia equipment operating (computers, burners, removable storage, photocopier, printer, scanner, camera…)
- Ability to work on statistics
- Sense of initiative, team spirit and mutual help
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to draft, proofread and edit projects (catalog, manuals, guides...)
- Occasional availability outside normal working hours.
- High level of maturity and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive student records information
- Ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, critical deadlines and the need for multi-tasking while keeping a good attitude.
- Good organizational and communication skills and the ability to prioritize work assignments.
