METHOD OF PAYMENT

None of the restaurant facilities will accept cash. The following describes how all food and drinks are purchased.

ACCESS FEE

All students (on campus and out of campus) must pay an access fee of 1600 Dh at the beginning of each semester.

ELECTRONIC CASH CARD

Students who want to purchase food and drink must purchase a magnetic card at the time of student registration or from the Office of Business Services. This cash card is loaded to a minimum value of 8 500.00 Dhs for freshmen.

HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR CARD PROBLEMS:

1. LOST CARDS
If you lose your card, the Office of Business Services must be notified immediately. Replacement cards are available for 50 Dhs from the Business Office.

2. MAGNETIC STRIP PROTECTION
The magnetic strip on the card must be protected at all times. Appliances that have strong electrical fields, such as TVs, can demagnetize the card and will make the card unusable and it will not register in the computer.

3. BLOCKED ACCOUNTS
An account sometimes becomes “blocked” because of a demagnetized card or changes in an account. A blocked account means that a card can not be used until the account is unblocked. Only the Office of Business Services can unblock your account.

RESTAURANT REGULATIONS:

  1. No Utensils, furniture can be taken from the restaurant building!!
  2. This is a violation of university policies and such an act is subject to disciplinary measures.
  3. Students who have finished eating are asked to remove their tray and place it in the proper place for cleaning.
  4. Students are expected to form lines and wait patiently until the line moves. It is discourteous to attempt to join a line in the middle and improper to ask someone to hold a place in the line for him/herself or for another student.
  5. Students are expected to respect the opening times of the restaurant.
  6. Please keep all doors closed during periods of cold weather. Open doors increase heating bills and the cost of providing food services.
  7. Gratuities/tipping of food service personnel is not allowed.
  8. Make sure you have your cash wallet with you and you have enough credit on it.
  9. Do not consume any food or drinks before paying for it.

CASHIERS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO:

  1. Accept mutilated cards that don’t show the holder’s photograph.
  2. Accept wallets belonging to others than the client.
  3. Accept signatures except when the system is down.
