Noise
All Dorms should be reasonably quiet all the times, and at specific hours, mid-terms and during the finals. Yelling, shouting, hooting, whistling or generally creating a racket on hallways is prohibited. Music should not be loud, for residents may be sleeping or studying. Residents should make sure that their socializing does not interfere with the academic activities of others.
Quiet hours are as follows:
- Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m.
- Friday and Saturday: 11.30 p.m. to 10.30 a.m.
- Final Exam weeks: 24 hours a day
Holiday Breaks
The residence Halls close during certain holidays. Residents will be informed a week before about the check out time. The Housing Office reserves the right to relocate residents to specific Halls, which remain open during the holidays. Staying in the Residence Halls beyond official check out requires approval from the Vice President of Student Affairs. Staying in the Residence Halls beyond official check out is subject to charges.
Keys
All residents will be given keys on move-in day. Lost keys must be reported to the Housing Maintenance Officer or to the Hall Director immediately. Students who lose their keys will be fined 300 MAD. Giving or lending one’s key to others is prohibited. Duplicating any of the University keys, including room keys, is also prohibited.
