Types of Financial Aid
Student Employment
Qualifying for student employment:
What is student employment?
It is an opportunity for a student to work on-campus and earn a specified amount of money per semester. This program also encourages community service work. Students must complete a Student-Employment Application form to be considered for a work-study award.
Who is eligible for student employment?
Student employment is available to enrolled students having completed a minimum of 30 credits for undergraduates and 12 credits for graduates with a CGPA above 3.00/4.00. You may also be aware that part time job is no longer automatically guaranteed from one semester to another. Rather, it is contingent upon student’s demonstrated financial need, work-study performance evaluation, and vacancies available as well as academic achievement. This program is not available during the summer session.
How will I be paid?
Once you are assigned to a particular position, the full amount is credited to your account with the university at the end of the semester depending on the number of hours actually worked.
Can I work as many hours as I want?
You are required to work a maximum of 10 hours/week (160 hours/semester) at the rate of 25 DH/ hour. This number of hours might be exceeded to make up for missing hours in case of absence, vacation, and/or exam periods and late assignment.
