Recreational Sports
The Student Activities Office, a department in the Division of Student Affairs; conducts a program of recreational sports which aims to make participation in sports a meaningful part of a total education, and to help produce a mentally integrated and socially adjusted individual. Our department places an emphasis on competetitive and recreational sports to provide the students with an enriching environment not only by helping the students to maintain a healthy body but also to develop a group spirit and prepare them for the many obstacles beyond the playing group.
Intramural Competitions
Intramural competitions are a fun and informal option for exercise and relaxation. They are also designed to accommodate various levels of skills, experience and interest. The main objective for intramural sports is to provide the students with the opportunity to spend leisure time in organized sport and to allow for social interaction outside classrooms. Thus, the Student Activities Office organizes in a variety of sports so that any students regardless of skill level can participate. Prizes, medals, and cups are distributed to the winning teams at the end of each semester.
Participation Procedures:
Participation forms for all intramural sports are available in the Student Activities Office. Please keep in mind that all activities have a sign up deadline. For any question stop by the Student Activities Office in building 2 first floor or call 2015 or 2904.
