Mathematics (MTH)
MTH 5301 Mathematics for Business
(Calculus) 3(3-0)
This foundation course introduces students to calculus. Pre-requisites
include Algebra I and II, Geometry, Set Theory,
and Linear Algebra. Special emphasis is on the applications of
calculus to business and economics. Extensive use is made of examples
and problems in which students establish proofs, apply formulas
and use computer software. This course is graded on the P/FR system.
