Library Tours and Orientation Programs

Mohammed VI Library offers a variety of orientation programs throughout the year meant to introduce both faculty and students to its varied and rich resources. These orientations can include using the library’s online catalog, the available electronic resources, the varied services offered on-site and general tours of the facilities. All sessions are conducted by experienced and library staff and are specifically tailored to meet the needs of the AUI community. Aside from the habitual enrichment programs offered to the existing members of the AUI community, Mohammad VI library also schedules orientation sessions meant to explore the facilities and highlight the services offered:

  • Orientation Programs for New Faculty

At the beginning of each semester, Mohammed VI library hosts an orientation program for new faculty. This event includes a tour of the library itself, an overview of library services, and an introduction to the library's online resources. While these are relatively brief, more in-depth tutorials can be scheduled with the Reference Desk staff at a later date.

  • Orientation Programs for New students

At the start of each semester, Mohammed VI Library conducts orientation sessions for entering students. This orientation program is an opportunity for all newly registered students to discover more about the developing learning environment available to them at AUI.

 The library’s orientation sessions cover the following topics:

  • Library services
  • Circulation procedures
  • The online catalog
  • Library resources
