SUMMER/FALL 2010 EXCHANGE PROGRAMS

Exchange programs are agreements by which students exchange places--the flow is in both directions.  No money is sent.  Students pay tuition and other fees to the home which is then held to be used for the other student.  Exchange programs are not to be confused with Study Abroad students where there is a flow of students in one direction only.
Applications for the Fall or Summer 2010 are welcome. The deadline is 19 February.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to stop by the Office of International Programs, Building 10.

The number of places will probably change as we know how many students will be coming to AUI during the selection process at exchange partner institutions.

While degree programs vary from institution to another, we have noted the AUI programs in which some similar classes are offered at the host institution.

If you insist on taking specific classes, then you may be disappointed.  Your application can be approved long before you know which courses will be offered.  Students who have 30 to 60 credits now face a far better chance of finding a number of many classes that fit their degree program.  Students with 75 credits or more face limitations and fewer choices.  Students with over 90 credits may not apply as too many end up cancelling.

Also, be aware that a few institutions require a TOEFL score of 530 taken within the last two years.
