SSC 2301 Arab Society
This course serves as an introduction to the study of the Arab world, both the Mashriq (Arab East) and the Maghrib (Arab West). It examines Arab culture, the large number of shared practices and beliefs among all Arabs, as well as the cultural specifics of various regions within the Arab world. The main focus of the course deals with the contemporary issues of this vast region.
