  • Associate professor at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane. Dr. Sendide Holds of a DES (Diplome des Etudes Supérieures) from the Faculty of Science at SMBA University in Fez and a “Doctorat d’Etat” in molecular immunology. Dr. Sendide started his career as an assistant Professor at the school of Science in Fez, before joining the school of Medicine within the same University. He moved to the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, in 2001, where he got a decent expertise in molecular immunology. In 2006, Dr. Sendide joined Al Akhawayn University where is currently occupies the position of an associate professor and Coordinator of Science and Engineering programs at the School of Science and Engineering. IN 2008, Dr. Sendide was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for research training at the National Institutes of Health NIH, in the US. His main research focus is on the molecular interaction between intracellular pathogens and macrophages. Recently, he started working on the production of bioactive molecules and the valorisation of specific Moroccan biotopes. During the past five years, Dr. Sendide started a parallel research related to education in Morocco. Through supervision of master and PhD students, Dr. Sendide’s work has been presented in international conferences and published in specialized American journals.
