  • PhD in environmental biotechnology from The University of Abd elmalek Essaadi in Tetouan, Morocco in a joint supervision with the Institute of Microbiology, Heinrich-Heine-Universitaet, Dusseldorf, Germany -2003 and a master degree in molecular biology from the City College of New York, NY, USA -1993. Associate Professors at the School of Science and Engineering at AlAkhawayn University in Ifrane. Fullbright scholar at USDA, Peoria, Illinois USA (summer 2006). Research interest in the field of Bioenergies associated to the production of the second generation bioenergy (bioproduction of ethanol from lignocellulosic biomass) and biogas from organic waste. It also includes the biodegradation of industrial liquid waste (Olive mill waste a downstream waste of the olives industry). I have been involved in many project and training on natural resources and environment issues and published research work in the same fields.
