First year BA student, Soukaina Ouaddar, won 1st place in show jumping (non-official 1m20) on Feb. 14 in SunshineTour – Dehesa Montemedio Vejer, Spain.  In the saddle of “Part of Me”, she won the event at 1.20m with a clear round.

Brought together by the Montenmedio Riding Center, the Sunshine Tour is the biggest equestrian competition in all of Europe. During the months of February and March, in five weeks, 450 riders from 46 different nations and 1,500 horses come to compete in a long series of equine events in both jumping and dressage. Morocco accounted for 3 wins and numerous top rankings on the first day at Sunshine Tour.

The category of theses five shows are CSI*** (raking system for the equestrian competition show jumping) and YH* level.
