Michael J. Willis

Michael J. Willis, H.M. King Mohammed VI Fellow in Moroccan and Mediterranean Studies and Director of the Middle East Centre at St Antony’s College, University of Oxford, gave a talk to Al Akhawayn community on “The Arab Spring in the Maghrib”. Michael Willis’ research interests focus on the politics, modern history, and international relations of the Maghreb. He is author of The Islamist Challenge in Algeria: A Political History (1997) and is currently writing a book on the comparative politics of Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco.
