Abdelkrim Ouardaoui

Abdelkrim Ouardaoui, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Al Akhawayn University, chaired a session at the Third International Conference on New Horizons in Education held on June 5-7, 2012, in Prague, the Czech Republic. Ouardaoui also presented a research paper entitled ICT Integration of Chemistry-Physics Classes in Middle Schools through a Participatory Approach Pilot Project. The paper is co-authored with Professors Ahmed Legrouri, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Al Akhawayn University; and Hassan Darhmaoui and Khalid Loudiyi, both professors at Al Akhawayn.

Abderrahman Hassi, Lecturer of Management at Al Akhawayn's School of Business Administration, published a research report entitled Niveau de scolarité et rémunération: Cas du marché de l'emploi canadien (2012). Algerian national swimming team

Algerian national swimming team is in residence at Al Akhawayn University from August 15 to September 4, 2012 preparing for the African Athletics Championship in Kenya. Al Akhawayn sports facilities provide good training conditions that attract athletes and teams from Morocco and abroad.

Youssef Boulaksil

Youssef Boulaksil, Assistant Professor of Operations Management and Quantitative Methods, won the 2011 Beta PhD Thesis Finalist Award by the Beta Research School for Operations Management and Logistics for his outstanding PhD dissertation at the Beta Research School.
