The purpose of the Grounds and Maintenance Department is to maintain and clean all of the buildings and grounds at Al Akhawayn University. It is a set of continuous processes and operations undertaken in order to keep facilities or equipment in the desired state. The department is also responsible for all kind of transport needs at the university.
Our normal working office hours are: 8:30 - 13:00 & 14:00 - 17:30

Electricity Section: 8:00 - 16:00 - 12:00 Midnight
Masonries, Painter & Carpenter Section: 8:00 - 17:00
Gardening & miscellaneous Section: 7:30 - 16:30
Driver Section: 7:00- 15:00 - 23:00 -07:00
Cleaning Section: 07:30 - 16:30 - 12:00
The transport department responds to all demands, and provides an excellent service to the Al Akhawayn Community. There are 4 vans with max 32 seats. And 1 bus, all students, faculty and staff can book the AUI vehicles by filling the request 48 hours in advance. See the attached file for the payment
The role of gardening section is to keep a safe, functional and aesthetically pleasing exterior environment. To accomplish this mission, this section has twenty employees throughout the year; the same team is responsible for rubbish pick-up on campus, snow removal on the streets and pathways and parking lot cleaning, they will also support special events like Commencement.
