Ifrane, April 9, 2012 – Al Akhawayn University greeted over 1,000 visitors at its annual Open House on Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Al Akhawayn’s Open House is an opportunity for prospective students, parents, and everyone else to visit the University campus in Ifrane and learn about the University’s academic offerings.

“The Open House this year was a success,” said Latifa Ouanaim, Director of Enrollment Services. “We have received good prospective student profiles who were able to meet with faculty at the three schools and attend academic presentations.”

Cherif Bel Fekih, Vice President for Student Affairs, gave a special presentation to the visitors, mainly students and parents. The presentation included information on admission at the University, financial aid, academic programs, and campus life.

Student Ambassadors walked the visitors through a series of information booths placed at strategic locations on campus, thus allowing for a better understanding of the opportunities Al Akhawayn offers to its community.

“This is the first time I visit Al Akhawayn campus, and I am loving it!” said Miriam, high-school student from Casablanca. “The academic offerings are very attractive and I know now that I will apply to Al Akhawayn for my bachelor’s degree.”
