Two AUI Students Win in Creative Writing Contest the Third International Contest in Writing Short Stories in Arabic

The Arabic Language and Reading Center at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane recently held its third International Contest in Writing Children's Short Stories in Arabic. The theme for this year's entries was "Sustainable development is a field for literary creativity", and contestants were able to submit pieces for fiction and information story categories.
In appreciation of literary production, stimulating reading, and cultivating it in cultural circles, the Center for Arabic and Literacy Education at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane in Morocco announces the results of the contest as follows:

- Khadija Salih Alj, who won the Excellence Award in Short Story and
- Aya Birouk, who won First Prize in Fiction Short Story.
The winners will be celebrated on Sunday, December 19, 2021, on the Microsoft Teams platform at 5:00 pm. We will send you the link in mid-December 2021.
The organizing committee was led by Dr. Abdellah Chekayri, from the Center for Arabic and Literacy Education at Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane, Morocco.
