AUI Pr. Therrien in collaboration with Pr. Oumlil Awarded EU Research Funds

Al Akhawayn University faculty Dr. Catherine Therrien (principal investigator) with the collaboration of Dr. Kenza Oumlil (co-investigator) was recently awarded a European Commission project as part of the Horizon 2020 Framework for Research and Innovation, and in response to the call H2020-SC6-MIGRATION-2020. Led by the Italian university Universita Degli Studi di Modena E Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE), the EU project “Interconnecting Histories and Archives for Migrant Agency: Entangled Narratives Across Europe and the Mediterranean Region” (ITHACA) was awarded a 2,995,500.00 € grant. AUI is partnering in this four-year project, starting April 2021 until April 2025, and was allocated the amount of 179,000.00 €.
