AUI hosted a one-day training workshop on green entrepreneurship by the Ministry of Sustainable Development
On Monday April 15, 2019, Al Akhawayn University hosted a one-day training workshop on green entrepreneurship kindly provided by the Ministry of Sustainable Development. This training was offered in the framework of the Cleantech Morocco Innovation Program which has launched this year, its fourth call for innovative projects in the following fields: valorization of waste, rational use of water, energy efficiency, renewable energies and green building.
Cleantech is a gobal program fostering innovation in clean technologies and the creation of green jobs. Cleantech Morocco is organized and supported jointly by the Moroccan Ministry of Sustainable Development, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), the Global Environment Fund (GEF), and the Italian Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea. The competition is open to all students willing to successfully launch a green business, as well as auto-entrepreneurs, startups, TPE and PME. Winners will get up to 250,000 Dhs to cover equipment and services and benefit from technical support from experts (training, mentoring, and networking). The call for application is available here.
