Programmed to Win: AUI codenaisseurs hope to take the gold four years running

0s and 1s are no joke. That’s why the Al Akhawayn School of Science and Engineering (SSE) is proud to announce the list of teams who qualified to represent AUI at the Moroccan Collegiate Programming Contest (MCPC) this upcoming October 28-29 2017 at the Université Internationale de Rabat (UIR). In first place is the team that also took last year’s MCPC title: “The Losers”. In second place, is the team that placed third at the GirlsCodell 2017 competition, “Girls Power”. Finally, we also have those teams that qualified through the local AUI Programming Contents that took place this past October 1st. These teams include “Slowpoke”, “Digimon”, “DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING”, “Brainless”, and “(Dis)Ability”.

AUI has been the Moroccan Champion of MCPC the last three years running, and the participating teams would like to continue this victorious tradition. The teams also hope that by taking home the victory, they might win a place at the Arab Collegiate Programming Contest (ACPC) in order to subsequently qualify for the ACM International Collegiate Programing Content (ACM ICPC), also known as the Programming World Finals that will take place in Beijing this upcoming April 2018.
