Two AUI Students Have Won an International Gender Equality Prize

Imane Abou-said and Zaineb Khizani have won the Flourish Prize from the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit. The inaugural Flourish Prizes recognize 17 innovations from around the world that align with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Imane and Zainab have won in the Gender Equality category. Their research analyzed Serve&Help, a Moroccan website and app helping economically-marginalized women find work.

The research winners highlight the top business innovations. From India to Argentina to the US, the 17 business innovations showcase the power of profitable businesses to solve local challenges while contributing to community prosperity and well-being. The Awards Ceremony will be held from June 14 to 16 at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Congratulations to Imane and Zainab, and of course their Professor, Dr. Mary Grace Neville.
