Media professionals

Al Akhawayn Media Relations team assists media professionals with requests for filming on campus, print and broadcast interviews, University photo and brand name use, and other resources.

 

Filming requests

All filming requests must be submitted to the External Communication Officer (link to: a.lahbabi[at]aui.ma) at least one month (30 working days) prior to the proposed date of filming. The External Communication Office reserves the right to refuse requests and to allow access to campus to filming crews.

 

Media professionals interested in covering specific University events must contact our External Communication Officer (link to: a.lahbabi[at]aui.ma) to register and get approval.

 

Once on campus, the filming crew must retrieve a Filming Permission from the External Communication Office before they start filming on campus.

 

Filming on campus is generally prohibited in academic holidays and weekends. Exceptions are treated on a case-by-case basis.

 

Interview requests

Media desiring to find a University expert or interview a University student, staff, or faculty must direct their requests to the External Communication Officer who will coordinate with the potential interviewees.

 

Photo requests

Media desiring to receive specific photographs of the University for use in press articles must contact the External Communication Officer.Royalty-free photographs to be included in media stories are available for download.

 

Use of Al Akhawayn name

The official name of the University is “Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane”. The name “Al Akhawayn University”, “Université Al Akhawayn” (for media in French), or “جامعة الأخوين” (for media in Arabic) may also be used.
