School of Business Administration

The School of Business Administration at Al Akhawayn University invites applications for faculty positions in various business fields. The language of instruction is English.
A potential faculty member at the School of Business Administration is generally a Ph.D. holder (or equivalent). Applicants with Master's (or equivalent) with a relevant business experience are also considered. Evidence of abilities to conduct and ensure high teaching with openness on Moroccan business practices is accounted for in the selection process.

Besides teaching, a faculty member at the School of Business Administration has other duties including participation to committees, teaching, student advising, research and development activities:

  1. Teaching: The normal teaching expectation in the school is 3 semester credit courses during Fall and Spring semesters and one course in summer.
  2. Research: Development of a progressive business and economics oriented research in relation with the activities conducted by the School and by the University
  3. Development Of Activities in relation to the Business and Economics projects undertaken at the School of Business Administration.

But teaching is the main activity during the first year of the contract.

All applicants must demonstrate superior teaching ability. Practical experience in their field would be a plus. They would be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses as well as to participate in targeted research projects in the area of their specialization.

To serve up its projects of expansion and development of new programs and collaborative commitment the School of Business Administration invites applications for the following domains, which cover classes for both the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the Master's of Business Administration (MBA).

Rank and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary offers are determined based on a standard grid linked to rank, with a number of additional allowances possible. Benefits offered include a housing allowance and inclusion in the comprehensive Moroccan health insurance program.
