Executive MBA AdmissionGeneral RequirementsProspective students may only apply to one degree program at Al Akhawayn University in any given application period. No previous course work will transfer to the Executive MBA. Applicants admitted to the Business School may not be simultaneously enrolled in other graduate programs. Please contact the Executive Education Center if you have any questions regarding your eligibility.
TOEFL RequirementsApplicants must demonstrate competence in English and submit a score 530 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). International TOEFL If you plan to take the international TOEFL, you must contact Amideast Rabat or Amideast Casablanca several weeks ahead of time to register for the test. An international TOEFL score report must reach AUI before the start of courses. Official score reports usually take four weeks to arrive at AUI. AUI Institutional TOEFL If you plan to take the Institutional TOELF at Al Akhawayn University, please make sure you check the appropriate box in page 2 of Form 1. If you take more than one TOEFL, we will consider the best score obtained. To take the AUI Institutional TOEFL, you must enclose a cheque in the amount of 480 Moroccan Dirhams. Application ProcessBefore completing your application, please read this section thoroughly and review all instructions. A suggested process for completing the application is below, with paragraphs describing each item in further detail (items correlate to specific Forms as noted):
Application FeeAll applications must be accompanied by a nonrefundable 500 Moroccan Dirhams application fee. This fee is not credited to tuition or other fees in the event of admission. Payment may be made by cash or by personal check. Application FormsFill out all requested information completely and sign where indicated. Your application will not be processed without your signatures as indicated. Your ResumePlease include a one to two page resume that highlights your education, academic focus, and honors you received; work experience, responsibilities, and accomplishments (organized by company); and organizations to which you belong. Your resume can also include bullet points highlighting specific skills such as languages as well as personal interests or leadership qualities. Essay QuestionsRespond to the four required essay questions, typed on separate sheets. Please limit yourself to the number of words noted, using 11-point font with 1.5 line spacing. Statement of Corporate Support - Form 3Have the corporate sponsorship form completed and signed by the appropriate individual at your company. This form specifically states that the company endorses your participation in the program, is aware of the time demands, and will provide you release time from work on class days. Self-employed individuals do not have to file in this form. TranscriptsYou should submit the original or a certified copy of your transcript from each college or university you have attended. Additionally, submit a certified copy of transcripts from any professional schools or non-degree programs you may have attended. Recommendations - Form 4We suggest that you request recommendations early in the application process. Have each recommendation returned to you in a sealed envelope for inclusion with your admissions packet. We suggest that you request recommendations from persons who have been directly responsible for assessing your managerial performance as well as future potential. At least two recommendations should come from an employer or supervisor. PhotographsPlease provide eight passport-size photographs in the appropriate envelope. Photographs will not be returned. Please write your full name at the back of each photograph Important: The University reserves the right to ask for additional information. InterviewsOnce your completed application is received by the Executive Education Center, you will be contacted to arrange an interview. We are proud of the quality and diversity of our students at Al Akhawayn University. The best way for us to maintain this level of excellence is to individually assess the strengths of each candidate. For this reason, the Graduate Admissions Committee considers the evaluative interview an essential part of the application review. The committee consists of professional admissions officers who interview candidates and evaluate applications for admission. Payment MethodAll payments are made in the name of “ Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane”. They can be made by check, money order, wire transfer, or in cash at the Business Office. Al Akhawayn University is not responsible for cash sent in the mail. In writing your check, make sure to write it in the name of “Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane”. Please make sure to write your complete name and National Identity Card number (passport number for international applicants) on the back of the check. The check must be duly signed and complete. International applicants residing abroad are advised not to pay by cheque. If they have no alternative, they must include bank charges, in addition to the application fee.

Once the application is received, an acknowledgement of receipt is issued stating whether the application is complete or incomplete.
