  • Allison Strem was born and raised in Massachusetts, in a small town 30 miles outside of Boston. She graduated from Suffolk University with a B.A. in History with a minor concentration in International Relations. She finished the history program with honors for writing and defending a thesis paper regarding U.S. Congressman John Joseph Moakley and his involvement in trying to end the violent Salvadoran civil war. For six years, Ms. Strem taught in an underserved area at a charter school outside of Springfield, Massachusetts. During her time teaching, she realized how much of a challenge it is to teach middle school, but how incredibly rewarding it is. She’s hoping to bring that enthusiasm to ASI and help inspire the students in our community to always strive for greatness. Outside of school she enjoys going on adventures with friends, cooking and baking, and spending time with her cat, Blue (named after the velociraptor in Jurassic World). She is also a dinosaur enthusiast and has a plethora of surprising skills and talents.
