Rules & Responsibilities

Rules and Regulations:

1. Tutors and mentors have the obligation to attend training sessions and meetings.

2. Tutors and mentors are required to fill student evaluation forms as requested.

3. Tutors, mentors, and students are required to be on time.

4. Tutors, Mentors and Students who miss two meetings within the CLE will be dismissed from the Center for Learning Excellence or, in the case of the students, will lose access to Private Tutoring Services.

5. It is not the tutors’ responsibility to solve problems and exercises. Their responsibility is to help and assist students solving them.

6. Tutors are required to explain and offer academic assistance only.

7. Tutors, mentors, and students are required to abide by AUI code of ethics.

8. Tutors and mentors are requested to refer students to campus services and resources if necessary.

9. Tutors and mentors are required to report any unusual behavior.
