The Student Activities Office (SAO) provides students with different opportunities to engage in cultural, educational, social, and recreational activities, which are an integral part of the living-learning community at AUI.

Students develop their talents, leadership abilities, and organizational skills through their involvement in and contribution to various clubs and student organizations.

SAO supervises and encourages co-curricular activities by working in collaboration with student organizations with different missions ranging from educational, and cultural, to humanitarian and recreational.

Center For Learning Excellence

The Center for Learning Excellence is dedicated to helping AUI students thrive in their academic pursuits. We strive to equip them with the skills and expertise needed to reach excellence through mentoring, tutoring services and specially tailored training programs.

AUI's Center for Learning Excellence:

Offers both tutoring and mentoring services
Coordinates different academic units, namely Student Learning Services, Technology Learning Services, and Writing Services
Supports students and teachers by providing professional development via Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) services
Provides a state-of-the-art environment that offers students support services while also providing the necessary training and tools for them to excel in their careers as educators and researchers.

The First-Year Experience Program

Make a successful transition to college life

Weekly seminars and regular events helps students integrate into AUI life and guides them through their degree and career planning.

An Introductory Orientation Program provides students with mentors, who are also AUI students, who guide new students in their choices concerning course specialization and the various facilities available on campus, listening to them and clearing up any doubts they may have in any area, thus helping them settle in, integrate and develop more easily and start the journey to becoming the best version of themselves.

Resident Life

Living in university housing is a unique experience

Students

AUI is one of the few campuses in Morocco with student housing. With 21 student residences, its Housing and Residential Life Office helps all residents to have a positive experience while living on campus.

On-campus housing helps students become more involved in the college experience, incorporating academic work with co-curricular activities.

Student dormitories feature modern amenities with heating systems, cable television service, wired and wireless internet, kitchens, laundry services, and study lounges, and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding cedar forest.

Faculty and Staff

Housing solutions include on-campus Faculty and Staff Residences in 3 buildings, each with 16 apartments which consist of either 1 or 2 furnished bedrooms with TV and Internet connections.

Cleaning and maintenance services are provided.

Off-campus solutions include a Residence in the center of Ifrane and also four 2-bedroom apartments (one large and three small) for faculty members.

Annex apartments consist of six buildings with various size apartments (1, 2, or 3 bedrooms) located about 6 km from the university. A university shuttle van ensures regular and reliable commuting.

Parents and Family

Upon successful application to the housing services, Students may receive guests of the same gender in their rooms. However, permission must be obtained from any roommates present in a double or triple occupancy room - this request should at least 24 hours prior to arrival.

All visitors are required to leave campus before 8:30 pm and no overnight stays are permitted except for family members who can arrange reservations through Downtown Residence via email (reservation@aui.ma) with 48-hour notice given beforehand.
