Many HR directors and CEOs of national and multinational organizations as well as representatives of the Moroccan government participated in the colloquium. Moustaghfir represents Morocco as member of the Union for the Mediterranean. The EMUNI Senate is composed of distinguished professors from different member countries. Posted on 06/05/2013The Model United Nations Club of Al Akhawayn University, under the supervision of its advisor Jack Kalpakian, Professor of International Studies, held its first High School Model UN on May 24—26 where Al Akhawayn hosted students from six high schools and five cities (Ifrane, Rabat, Meknes, Marrakech, and Taza). Two committees were simulated: the UN Security Council on Kashmir in 1948, and the UN Security Council on the Rwanda genocide in 1993. After negotiations and heated discussions, both committees reached agreement positions and approved resolutions. Parallel activities were held throughout the event. The best delegates of each committee received awards in recognition for their hard work. Posted on 06/05/2013Abderrahman Hassi, Lecturer of Management in the School of Business Administration at Al Akhawayn University, delivered a seminar on Integrating Entrepreneurship in Academic Programs at l'École Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et d'Analyse des Systèmes (ENSIAS) on May 20-21, 2013. The workshop was designed for academic faculty teaching entrepreneurship-related courses at ENSIAS, l’ENSET, Hassan II University, Mohammed V University, and the International University of Rabat. The main objective was to discuss efficient approaches to teaching entrepreneurship to tertiary-level students.
