Applying for a grant
Students seeking financial aid are required to complete the financial aid application form and provide the required documents within the set deadline. No financial aid files are reviewed during the registration period. The Office of Financial Aid receives the applications for financial aid either via mail or 0walk-ins.
The Financial Aid Office reviews the application and makes sure that all necessary documents are submitted and that the form is duly authenticated. Students should be aware of any additional requirement. The University Financial Aid Committee reviews all information provided by financial aid applicants and establishes a plan for each student. Due to limited financial aid funds, most forms of aid are awarded to students whose files are accurately and timely completed. The committee grant decision is communicated via candidates' personal account and/or mail.
Continuing students enrolled without financial aid can also apply for a grant after completing at least 30 credits for undergraduates and 12 credits for graduates at AUI, conditional upon having good academic standing.
Students with a need-based grant are not allowed to benefit from a single room except with a special permission from the Vice President for Student Affairs and only in exceptional circumstances. |
