Celebration of the World Earth Day 2009

Under the theme:

“Your Planet Needs You - Unite to Combat Climate Change”

The  Center for Environmental Issues and Regional Development Celebrated the Earth Day 2009(Workshops, field actions, tree planting campaign…). Celebrations took place at the  AUI CEIRD and the Eco-Village on Wednesday, April 22 from 8:a.m to 6: p.m.

The selected theme suggested by UNEP, Earth network and other international partner institutions was:
“Your Planet Needs You - Unite to Combat Climate Change”
