In accordance with Dahir No. 1-93 364, dated on October 6, 1993 (corresponding to 19 Rabi‘ II 1414 A.H.), Hassan II Academy of Science and Technology will assemble several colleges of different scientific and technological disciplines.

The text of Law stipulates that scholars shall be designated by the founding commission which is appointed by His Majesty the King. The commission shall study direct and indirect applications in consideration of the contributions of candidates in international papers and magazines, the international scientific scope of their works, their contribution to training on and through research, their inventions, or their international renown.

The Dahir of Creation of the Academy states that the candidates selected shall be given the consent of His Majesty.
