Strategies to protect, value and market intellectual property of incubator and tenants
The added value of the tenants resides in the innovation and the process used in the execution of their project. It is therefore necessary to protect all the innovative concepts.
For that, we will work in close collaboration with OMPIC (Moroccan agency for intellectual and industrial property protection) which is in charge of patents deposit and international protection.
The next step will be to give value to the innovative concepts via seminars, presentations and contests in order to present the project to interested entities (big industries, capital venture funds…)
Activities involved in the graduation process aimed at increasing the profitability and long-term sustainability of tenant companies
All through the incubation period, the tenants will be prepared to face the market reality and become independent.
The aim of the tenants’ support and permanent monitoring is to help them become active players in the economic sphere of the country.
To assure their financing and help them find commercial contracts, we will get the tenants in touch with venture capital funds and national established companies that could be interested in absorption (spin out) or buying their products and services.
Tenants will also have other development sources such as fares and international salons, seminars and governmental and professional associations support.
At the end of the incubation period, tenants should graduate and leave the incubator. However companies with high potential but not ready yet may stay in the incubator (if the board agrees) but will bear the costs of provided support services.
Tenant companies will benefit from Ifrane MAVRIT after the incubation period at the similar conditions as other companies that will be established in the same area
The incubator will create an allumi data base for graduating tenants and follow their evolution on a regular basis. We will ask them to report to us their key business indicators and any other relevant information in order to promote them in our public communication and marketing (success stories, news in our web site, statistics…)
